Potty Training
We understand that one of the hardest parts of bringing home a new puppy is potty training! We work hard to give your puppy a great start on their potty training journey! At three weeks we introduce the potty mats on one side of the whelping box. At 4 weeks, we bring in the potty boxes. They are able to start walking at this age, and can climb into these boxes to do their business. It’s amazing how fast they learnt to keep their area clean! By the time they go home with their new families, they have a firm foundation for potty training!
Crate Training
We realize that crate training can be hard. Listening to your new little one cry in their crate all night would hurt even the hardest of hearts. We firmly believe crate training is for your puppies good, even though it is difficult. We start your crate training here, so that the puppy has already learned that the crate can be a safe place. When done right, the crate can become a haven for your little one. A place of quiet and calm. We start crate training at 5 1/2 weeks, so your puppy can start learning that a crate is a good thing, in an environment that is already familiar to them. This makes for a smoother transition into their new homes.
